GED testing gives individuals who could not complete their HS education another chance to earn an equivalent degree.

The GED® measures knowledge at a level that compares to that of high school students after four years of education.

The exam is fully computerized and has four separate subtests in

• Science
• Social Studies

Introducing the GED Exam Online

The four GED subtests can now be taken over the Internet as well. In the past, you were required to come to an official Alaska GED testing center in person if you wanted to earn your Alaska high school equivalency diploma. Well, that has changed with the introduction of an online GED test that uses the services of an online proctor. For more details, go to “Online proctored GED test.
