Listed in this post are all GED prep classes and testing sites in the Ann Arbor region. Michigan is using two options for high school equivalency testing, the GED and HiSET exams.

Both options are available online and at state-designated testing facilities. Check below for information about online GED and HiSET testing.

The exams offer individuals who never graduated high school the opportunity to earn an equivalent degree.

Testing takes place at a level that’s similar to what HS students must command upon graduation.

The GED® is fully computerized and has four separate subtests (modules) measuring a candidate’s proficiency in

• Language Arts
• Math
• Science
• Social Studies

You can take one or more of these modules at a time; no need to complete the entire GED battery in one take.

The HiSET® exam has five tests (separate reading and writing tests) that can be taken separately as well.

Online GED and HiSET Testing Options

Until recently, taking the HiSET and GED exams over the Internet was not possible. Well, that has now changed. The HiSET test is now offered online, and GED Testing Service has introduced the online GED test as well.
