This article lists all GED class sites and testing facilities in the Aurora region. Colorado uses two options for High school Equivalency testing, the GED and HiSET exams.

The HiSET and GED can be taken online or at one of Colorado’s official testing centers. Read more below.

The assessments offer adults who didn’t finish high school the chance to earn an equivalent credential.

Both exams assess basic knowledge at a level that may be expected of HS students upon graduation.

The GED® comes with four separate subtests in

• Social Studies
• Math (Mathematical Reasoning)
• Science

Restoration Outreach Programs

Restoration Outreach Programs (ROP) is a not-for-profit ministry that offers GED prep classes for residents of the Aurora community. The organization is convinced that a close relationship with the Lord is the answer to a lot of challenges in people’s lives. Restoration Outreach Programs’ instructors are working hard to help applicants find a way toward self-sufficiency and community service.

The ministry provides a supportive learning environment for adults who can work one-on-one with an experienced instructor at their own pace. Morgan Community College’s ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes are a great help in learning basic writing, reading, science, math, and social studies competencies. The school will help you prepare for the 4 tests of the GED exam or the five HiSET subtests.

The HSE (high school equivalency) diploma is seen and accepted just like a standard high school diploma all across the country. HSE prep classes allow you to increase your academic and life skills to get better and decently-paying employment, and the Colorado HSE diploma is also the right ticket for a college or university education.

Online GED and HiSET

The GED and HiSET exams can now be taken in an online proctored format as well. Until recently, that was not possible. To get hold of a GED diploma, test-takers needed to come in person to one of Colorado’s designated GED testing sites.
