The GED® test in South Carolina is given at state-certified testing facilities and in an online format.
The exam provides persons who didn’t graduate from high school the chance to secure an equivalent degree.

Welcoming the Online GED Test
In earlier days, GED testing was never an option online. Students looking to earn their high school equivalency credentials had to come personally to a state-designated testing center.
However, the recent introduction of a new online proctored GED testing option has ended that in most states. The online proctored GED test is not (yet?) offered in New York. For more information, check out this article: ‘The online proctored GED exam.’
