This post contains an overview of GED prep facilities and test centers in the Dodge City area. In Kansas, you’ll have to pass the GED test to get hold of your high school equivalency diploma.
The GED exam is available at state-approved test centers and online.
The assessment is for individuals who did not graduate high school and it offers them the opportunity to earn an equivalent degree.
The GED® exam has four separate subtests in the following fields:
- English Language Literacy
- Social Studies
You have the option to deal with the four GED modules (subtests) one at a time and in any order.
The exam assesses knowledge at a level that compares to that of high school seniors upon graduation.
In the past, there was no GED testing option over the Internet. Recently, however, that has changed with the arrival of a new, online, proctored option to sit for the GED exam. You can read more below.

Introducing the Online GED Test
Until recently, the GED exam could not be taken via the Internet. If you were looking to get hold of your GED diploma, you were required to come to one of Kansas’ official GED testing centers in person.
Now, that is changing with the arrival of an online test-taking option that utilizes an online proctor to guide you through the test-taking process and check if you do it all correctly. Go to this article: ‘The Online GED Exam’ for more information.
