Testing takes place at a level comparable to what graduating high school seniors must know.

The GED® has four independent modules (subtests) assessing knowledge of

  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Math
  • English Language Literacy

These modules may be written separately and in any order you desire.

Introducing Online Proctored GED Testing

In earlier days, to secure your HSE (high school equivalency) diploma, you were required to show up personally at an official Oregon GED testing center. Online testing simply wasn’t available. But now we’ve seen the introduction of a new online proctored GED testing option, so that has changed.

A proctor will monitor your activities and check if everything goes in accordance with the rules. To read more about this new online proctored GED test-taking option, check out ‘Online proctored GED testing.’
