Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

The GED and HiSET tests give individuals who never graduated high school the chance to secure an equivalent credential.

The HiSET® exam, like the GED®, assesses fundamental proficiency at a level comparable to that of graduating HS seniors.

GED testing includes four modular sub-exams covering

  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Language Arts (writing and reading combined)

There are five individual HiSET subtests in writing, reading, social studies, math, and science.

Please note that both the HiSET and GED exams can be taken online or in person at an official Indiana testing site.

GED Passing Score

On the GED sub-exams, the minimally needed score is 145 out of 200. So, your total score can never be less than 580.

  • A 145-164 result indicates high school equivalency
  • A 165-174 result indicates college readiness
  • A 175-200 score indicates college readiness and will additionally result in up to 10 college credit hours

HiSET Passing Score

On the HiSET exam, you must attain a score of at least 8 points (out of 20) on each of the five HiSET subtests, and your total score must be no less than 45 points. There is no averaging, so the 8-score is what you must have minimally on each of the five tests. Additionally, your essay’s result must be at least a 2-score (out of 6).
