It doesn’t matter when you left school.

The exam is for people who never graduated high school and gives them another opportunity to earn an equivalent degree.

Testing takes place at a level that compares to that of graduating high school students.

The HiSET® exam consists of five modular subtests in Reading, Writing, Science, Maths, and Social Studies.

In the past, the HiSET exam, like the GED®, was exclusively administered at official test centers. Online HiSET or GED testing was not possible.
