It doesn’t matter when you left school.

The assessment is for adults who were not in a position to finish high school. This way, they can acquire an equivalent secondary education degree.

The HiSET®, just like the GED® test, measures knowledge at a level that compares to that of graduating high school seniors.

The HiSET has five sector tests in the fields of English writing, English reading, math, social studies, and science. You can take the HiSET on a computer or on paper.

The HiSET exam assesses knowledge and skills at a level comparable to that of high school seniors upon graduation.
