Can I Join The Army With A GED?

A new online GED testing option

To sit for the GED exam, there was, until recently, no option over the internet. If you were looking to earn a GED diploma, your personal appearance at an official Florida GED testing facility was required.

Now, with the introduction of a new online GED test, that has changed. A proctor will help you through the entire test-taking process. Visit ‘The online GED test introduced’ to learn more.

The GED – who is it for?

The GED  (General Education Development) program was initially developed during the 1940s basically to assist military employees in obtaining additional educational backgrounds and improve their employment opportunities.

The GED program offers persons without a high school diploma the chance to obtain a certificate that equals a high school degree. The credential allows for a college education and will definitely result in far better employment opportunities.

The entire GED exam will require 7.5 hours to complete, but you can take one test at a time; there is no need to take everything in one take. You can take the four modules if whished, one or more at a time.

Across North America, the GED diploma is accepted by recruiting agencies, employers, government organizations, and higher learning institutions in the same way as a standard high school credential.
