The four GED tests can be taken in an online format or at one of Oregon’s official test centers.

Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

The program offers adults without a high school diploma a second chance at earning an equivalent degree.

The GED® exam assesses knowledge at a level that compares to that of HS students upon graduation.

There are four GED subtests (or modules) in the subject areas of

  • Science
  • Math
  • English Language Literacy
  • Social Studies

You have the freedom to take one (or more) subtests at a time; no requirements to complete the entire battery in one take.

Online GED testing was, until recently, not an option. Now, that has changed with the arrival of an online GED testing option. Read more below.

Online Proctored GED Test Launched

It used to be that if you were looking to secure your high school equivalency credential, your personal appearance at one of Oregon’s state-approved GED testing sites was required. There was simply no online GED testing offered. Well, that has now changed with the introduction of an online GED testing option.

You need a reliable Internet connection, and a proctor will be monitoring if you do it all in line with the regulations. If you want to read more about this great development, check out this post: ‘Welcoming the online GED test.’
