This article includes a full listing of GED prep sites and test centers in the Saginaw area. In Michigan, there are two tests for high school equivalency testing, the HiSET and GED exams.

Both tests are available at official Michigan test centers and online. Check below to learn more about online GED and HiSET testing.

The exams offer people who did not graduate high school the chance to acquire an equivalent credential.

The GED® exam consists of four tests in these academic fields:

• Language Arts Literacy
• Math
• Science
• Social Studies

You have the option to take one of the four subtests at a time; no need to sit for the entire GED battery in one take.

The HiSET® exam comes with separate reading and writing subtests, so five overall, that you can also take individually.

The GED must be taken entirely on a computer, while the HiSET is offered on paper and on a computer.
