Listed here are all GED preparatory classes and testing facilities in the Salem area. Oregon uses the computer-formatted GED exam for the state’s high school equivalency testing program.

GED testing can be done online and at state-recognized testing facilities.

The exam offers adults who could not finish high school the opportunity to acquire an equivalent degree.

The GED® measures basic knowledge at a level that’s comparable to that of high school seniors upon graduation.

There are four individual GED subtests that assess a test-taker’s knowledge of these subjects:

• Social Studies
• Science
• Math
• English Language Literacy

In the past, there was no online GED test. You were required to come to an official Oregon GED testing site.

CCC offers GED prep classes to individuals who don’t have a high school diploma or want to enhance their basic skills, and who are at least 18 years of age. Welcoming the Online GED Test

To secure your high school equivalency (HSE) credential, you were required to show up personally at one of Oregon’s state-approved GED test facilities. GED testing simply did not exist in an online format.
