Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

The HiSET® and GED® assessments are for individuals who could not finish high school and offer them the opportunity to earn an equivalent degree.

The exam includes five subject tests in

  • Math
  • English Reading
  • English Writing
  • Science
  • Social Studies

The GED exam comes with four individual sub-exams as the reading and writing tests were merged into one Reasoning through Language Arts test.

HiSET testing can be done both paper-based and on a computer, whereas the GED can only be taken in a computer-based format. All subtests can be taken individually.

Until recently, you needed to come to an official HSE (High School Equivalency) testing site to sit for the exam in person. There was no online HiSET or GED testing possibility.

Online HiSET and GED Testing Option Introduced

HiSET or GED testing over the Internet was, until quite recently, not an option. If you wished to earn your Louisiana high school equivalency credential, you needed to appear in person at a state-approved HSE testing center. Now, the introduction of online HiSET and GED testing options (called the HiSET-Exam-At-Home and the Online Proctored GED Test) has changed all of that.

So now you can take the five HiSET or four GED modules (independent subtests), from your own home in an online format. An online proctor will manage your test-taking activities and check if everything happens in accordance with the rules and regulations. Go to ‘The Online Proctored HiSET Test’ if you want to learn more. For information on the Online Proctored GED Exam, <- check here.

Your Future

The HiSET and GED exams measure fundamental matters that students are explained in high school. After completing the GED or HiSET test successfully, you will receive the Louisiana High School Equivalency Diploma. To see if you qualify, go to our post: Louisiana HiSET Testing.

In Louisiana, we still can find some 600,000 adults who have not finished high school, and the HiSET and GED tests offer a perfect way for them to catch up.
