This article posts all GED prep classes and testing centers in the Topeka region. The Kansas high school equivalency exam is for adults who never graduated high school.

Test-takers can sit for the Kansas GED test at state-certified test centers and online. The program offers them a chance to earn an equivalent diploma.

The GED® exam is entirely computer-based and comes with four separate tests in

• English Language Literacy
• Social Studies
• Math
• Science

You can take one of the four subtests (modules) at a time. No need to complete all four subtests in one take.

The GED diploma is recognized and accepted just like a regular high school diploma by schools and employers across the nation.

In the past, online GED testing was not an option. To earn your GED diploma, you needed to come to an official Kansas testing site in person.

All of this has changed, however, with the recent introduction of an online GED test-taking option. Learn more below.

In the past, it was not possible to take the GED test online. To secure your GED, your personal appearance at a state-designated GED testing facility was needed.
