Posted here are GED prep class sites and testing centers in the Trenton region. New Jersey also welcomed the HiSET exam for the purpose of high school equivalency testing.

Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

Both the GED and HiSET tests can be done online or at state-certified test centers. The TASC exam is no longer available.

The assessments give adults who never finished high school the chance to acquire an equivalent degree.

Both assessments measure knowledge at a level comparable to that of graduating high school seniors.

In New Jersey, both options are administered in a computer-based format. Paper-based testing is not possible anymore in New Jersey.

The GED® includes four modular subtests that measure a test-taker’s knowledge of

You can write these sub-exams individually and in any order you like.

The HiSET® has five tests (Literacy is split up into writing and a reading test) that can be taken separately, too.

In the past, the HSE (high school equivalency) exam was not offered online. You were required to come to an official New Jersey test center and sit for the tests in person.

This has now changed with the arrival of online proctored HiSET and GED test-taking options. Learn more at the bottom of this post.

Launching Online Proctored GED and HiSET Tests

If you wanted to sit for the New Jersey HSE exam, you had to show up personally at one of the state’s designated testing facilities. There was never an option to deal with any of the tests over the Internet. Recently, however, we’ve seen some great developments with the introduction of online proctored HiSET and GED testing options.

To read more about the recently launched HiSET-Exam-At-Home online test, visit this post: ‘The HiSET-At-Home exam,’ and to learn more about the online proctored GED test, check out the following page: ‘The online proctored GED test.’
