GED Classes Vineland, New Jersey

Included in this post is an overview of all GED prep sites and testing facilities in the Vineland region. New Jersey offers two options to earn your high school equivalency diploma: the GED and HiSET exams.

The GED and HiSET tests are available at certified test centers and in an online format.

The exams are for persons who did not complete high school and offer them the chance to earn an equivalent degree. TASC testing is no longer available.

The GED® exam comes with four individual modules (subtests) in

• Language Literacy
• Mathematics
• Social Studies
• Science

These subtests are independent modules that can be completed one at a time and in any order.

The HiSET® test is done through five separate subtests, as the Literacy parts have individual tests in writing and reading.

Online GED or HiSET testing is not possible. To earn your New Jersey HSE (High School Equivalency) diploma, you’ll need to report to one of New Jersey’s designated testing sites.

In New Jersey, both options are done computer-based; no more paper-based testing!

In earlier days, high school equivalency testing was only available at official testing facilities. This has now changed, however, with the introduction of HiSET and GED test-taking options. To learn more, check the bottom of this page.

Introducing Online GED and HiSET Exams

Until recently, taking the New Jersey HSE exam over the Internet was not an option. The tests were simply not available online. But now, we’ve seen the launch of both the online GED and HiSET testing options.
